  • White Onions, cut into small dice 60 g
  • Tomatoes, cut into small dice 60 g
  • Adlai Grains 240 g
  • Water 1500 ml
  • Knorr Shrimp Powder 3 g
  • Green Finger Chili 3 pc
  • String Beans, cut into 2 inch lengths 100 g
  • Eggplant, cut into medium dice 100 g
  • Okra, cut on a bias 60 g
  • Kangkong leaves, picked and cleaned 60 g
  • Prawns, cleaned and trimmed 8 pc

Add garnishes

  • Fresh tomatoes, chopped 80 g
  • White radish ribbons, blanched 60 g
  • Crispy Fried Taro (Gabi) Chips 10 g
  • Crispy Fried Kangkong Leaves 5 g
  1. Procedure

    • Pour oil onto a heated paellera. Sauté the onions and tomatoes until fragrant.
    • Add the adlai and sauté until every grain is coated with oil.
    • Mix-in the Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix, making sure it is incorporated evenly onto the grains.
    • Gradually add the water while continuously mixing.
    • Add the Knorr Shrimp Powder and continue to mix until it is completely dissolved into the mixture.
    • Taste the mixture. It should be highly seasoned as the liquid will be absorbed by the adlai.
    • Add the green chili finger and simmer the paella.
    • When the paella is 90 % cooked and there’s still a small amount of liquid, mix in all the vegetables evenly distributing them.
    • Level the paella and place the prawns on top.
    • Cover the paella with foil and turn off the flame. Steam cook the paella.
    • Let the residual heat finish the cooking of the dish. This will ensure the vegetables and prawns are properly cooked.
