Beef shortribs,cut into 2 inch dices 1500.0 g

Knorr Chicken Powder 1kg, For Seasoning

Corn Oil 180.0 ml

White Onions, quartered 320.0 g

Garlic, whole 60.0 g

Ginger, minced 45.0 g

Chili Flakes 15.0 g

Water 1500.0 ml

Star Anise 30.0 g

Cornstarch Slurry, For Sauce Thickener
Preparation

60 minutes- Chop necessary ingredients.
- Season beef with Knorr Chicken Powder.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Brown the beef on all sides.
- When cooked, stir in the beef broth.
- Add the onions, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, and star anise. Stir very well.
- Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil.
- Simmer until the beef is fork tender and sauce has slightly thickened.
- Adjust sauce consistency with slurry.
- Stir in Knorr Rock Sugar Honey Sauce.

Garnishing
2 minutes- Remove star anise.
- Optional: Garnish the dish with leafy vegetables, carrots, onion leeks, rehydrated mushrooms, shallots and green apples.
