Galbi Jjim

This Korean Beef Stew's rich, luscious sauce is on a league of its own! Fall-off-the-bone tender meat drenched in sweet and spicy flavors make up this hearty, comforting recipe perfect for any occasion! 



  1. Galbi Jjim

    60 minutes
    1. Chop necessary ingredients.
    2. Season beef with Knorr Chicken Powder.
    3. Heat oil in pan.
    4. Brown the beef on all sides.
    5. When cooked, stir in the beef broth.
    6. Add the onions, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, and star anise. Stir very well.
    7. Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil.
    8. Simmer until the beef is fork tender and sauce has slightly thickened.
    9. Adjust sauce consistency with slurry.
    10. Stir in Knorr Rock Sugar Honey Sauce.  
  2. Garnishing

    2 minutes
    1. Remove star anise.
    2. Optional: Garnish the dish with leafy vegetables, carrots, onion leeks, rehydrated mushrooms, shallots and green apples.
