Sauce Preparation

  • Canola Oil 30 g
  • White onions, sliced 15 g
  • Garlic, sliced 5 g
  • Black Peppercorns, whole 1 g
  • Worcestershire Sauce 20 ml
  • Water 500 ml
  • Truffle Paste 20 g
  • Heavy cream 60 ml
  • White Sugar 5 g
  • Unsalted Butter 15 g
  1. Sauce Preparation

    • Heat the oil in a sauce pot
    • Saute the onions, garlic, and whole black peppercorns
    • Add the Worcestershire sauce
    • Saute until the mixture reduces in half
    • Combine the water and the Knorr Demi Glace Sauce and pour onto the mixture
    • Adjust taste with Knorr Liquid Seasoning and Knorr Aromat Seasoning Powder
    • Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes
    • Strain the mixture into another sauce pot
    • Add the truffle paste, heavy cream and sugar
    • Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes
    • Finish with cold butter
