Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 350g Chicken Breast Meat, skinless
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Tapioca Flour
  • 1 tbsp Oil


Seasoning Sauce


Hot and Spicy Honey Sauce Chicken

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 8 Dried Chilies, chopped
  • ½ tsp Szechuan Peppercorns
  • 2 pcs Star Anise
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, smashed
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 stalks of Spring Onion, cut into lengths


Assembly

  • 50g Peanuts, deep-fried

 


Preparation

Chicken Marinade and Cooking

  • Cut chicken breast meat into slices.
  • Season chicken with the oyster sauce, tapioca flour and oil.
  • Blanch the marinated chicken in hot oil until golden brown.
  • Dish out and drain from oil.


Seasoning Sauce

  • Combine the Knorr Chicken Powder, tomato sauce, chili sauce, sesame oil, pepper, and Knorr Rock Sugar Honey Sauce.


Hot and Spicy Honey Sauce Chicken

  • Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan.
  • Stir fry the dried chilies, Szechuan peppercorns and star anise until fragrant.
  • Add ginger, garlic, and chicken meat. Stir well.
  • Add seasoning sauce and spring onion. 
  • Fry over high heat for 6-7 minutes. 


Assembly

  • Dish out, sprinkle peanuts over and serve.
