  1. Make the Black Rice Porridge

    130 minutes
    • Heat a pan and add oil.
    • Add ginger and sauté for 1 minute.
    • Add garlic and cook until crisp.
    • Add onions and sauté until translucent.
    • Add black rice and water.
    • Bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 2 hours or until the porridge is thick and has broken down.
    • Season porridge with Knorr Aromat.
  2. Prepare the Tomato Gravy

    30 minutes
    • Heat a pan and add some oil.
    • Add ginger and sauté for 1 minutes.
    • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Do not brown.
    • Add onions and cook until translucent.
    • Add prepared Knorr Demi Glace. Bring to a boil.
    • Add soy sauce, chili, dashi powder, and Knorr Aromat. Simmer for 15 minutes.
    • Stir in tomatoes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Cook the Adobong Tuna

    15 minutes
    • Heat a pan and add some oil. Sear tuna quickly. Set aside.
    • In the same pan, add more oil and sauté garlic until crispy.
    • Add onions, bay leaf, and pepper. Continue sautéing until onions are translucent.
    • Deglaze pan with vinegar and soy sauce.
    • Add tuna back to the pan. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 2 minutes.
    • Turn off heat. Season with Knorr Liquid Seasoning.
  4. Cook the Tornado Eggs

    15 minutes
    • In a bowl, whisk eggs with Knorr Aromat, milk, and white pepper.
    • Heat a pan and melt butter.
    • Add egg mixture. Once slightly set, add adobong tuna in the center. Fold to make an omelet.
  5. Garnish and Serve the Adobong Tuna Silog

    10 minutes
    • Place a portion of porridge on a serving dish. Top with tuna omelet.
    • Pour tomato gravy on top.
    • Garnish with garlic bits and spring onions.
