Cooking the beef shortribs

Braised beef shortribs in aromatic liquid, grilled then glazed with charred tomatoes and maple syrup. Adding to the sweet side of your mains.



  1. Cooking the beef shortribs

    90 minutes
    1. Combine the Knorr Liquid Seasoning, Hellmann's Charred Tomato and Capers, garlic, onions, bayleaf, water, and liquid smoke in a pot.
    2.  Add the beef shortribs into the pot. Stir.
    3. Place the pot over medium flame, bring to a boil then simmer until the beef is tender.
    4. Remove from the simmering liquid and set aside.
  2. Preparing the sauce mix

    20 minutes
    1. In a pot combine the remaining ingredients
    2. Stir and bring to a boil. Use this as glaze for the cooked beef.
    3.  Pre-heat the grill. Grill the beef and glaze until it is caramelized and sticky.
