Preparation

  1. Best Crispy Pata Recipe

    180 minutes
    1. In a large sauce pot, place all the ingredients.
    2. Bring to a boil then simmer for 2 to 3 hours or until it is fork tender.
    3. Strain then let it cool. Keep in the chiller until ready to cook.
    4. Preheat frying oil in a pot over medium heat. Heat the oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
    5. Once ready, place the pata inside and cover the pot. Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
    6. Remove from the cooking pot, and place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
    7. Transfer to a rack and let it cool.
    8. Chop and transfer to a serving plate. Best enjoyed together with crispy pata sauce!
  2. Peanut Sauce (Dipping Sauce 1)

    10 minutes
    1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor. Puree until smooth.
    2. Heat the mixture before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning.
    3. Turn off the heat, stir in the Knorr Lime Powder and serve with the crispy pata.
  3. Crispy Pata Sauce (Dipping Sauce 2)

    10 minutes
    1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix it using a whisk.
    2. Set aside and serve this with the crispy pata.

      10 minutes
      1. Combine all the ingredients together in a food processor.
      2. Pulse the mixture until it forms a paste (similar to a pesto).
      3. Taste and adjust seasoning.
