Stewed Pork with Coconut Milk

  • Pork Kasim, diced 2-inch 500.0 g
  • Garlic, minced 50.0 g
  • Onion, half and sliced 100.0 g
  • Vinegar 150.0 ml
  • Green Chili, whole 2.0 g
  • Coconut Milk 200.0 ml
  • Black Pepper 5.0 g
  • Laurel Leaves 1.0 pc
  • Water 1.0 l

Dipping Sauce

  • Vinegar 100.0 ml
  • Garlic, minced 5.0 g
  • Black Pepper
  • Red Onions , brunoise 25.0 g
  • Red Chili, minced 1.0 g
  1. Stewed Pork with Coconut Milk

    90 minutes
    1. Heat a pan and sear the pork on all sides.
    2. Next, sauté the garlic and onions in the pan.
    3. Deglaze with vinegar before mixing in the green chili.
    4. Add the Knorr Liquid Seasoning, Knorr Pork Broth Base, water, pepper and laurel then bring to a boil.
    5. When it starts boiling, simmer the sauce until water is reduced to a third.
    6. Pour in the coconut milk and let is simmer again until it reaches a thick creamy consistency.
    7. Transfer into a serving plate and enjoy with steamed rice and the dipping sauce.
  2. Dipping Sauce

    20 minutes
    1. Mix all ingredients together to create a dipping sauce with a spicy kick.
    2. Serve the Pork Adobo sa Gata with this sauce!
