Cook the Adlai Lugaw

  • Mushroom chips (fried in Knorr Rostip Chicken Seasoning Powder 1kg and cornstarch) 50.0 g
  • Fried Tofu (fried in Knorr Rostip Chicken Seasoning Powder 1kg and cornstarch) 50.0 g
  • Green Langka or Papaya (boiled, marinated in inasal marination then grilled) 50.0 g
  • Edible Flowers 15.0 g

Preparation

  1. Cook the Adlai Lugaw

    • In a pressure cooker, combine the adlai, water, Knorr Chicken Broth Base, white pepper, 10g of Knorr Chicken Powder, and pumpkin.
    • Close the pressure cooker and cook on high heat until the whistle starts. Once the whistle starts, reduce the heat to low and continue pressure cooking for 20 minutes.
    • After pressure cooking, allow the cooker to release pressure naturally. Open the cooker then stir the adlai and pumpkin mixture well. Set it aside.
    • Adjust the seasoning to taste by adding around 5g of Knorr Chicken Powder. Stir well.
  2. Garnish and Serve

    • For garnish, top the adlai lugaw with mushroom chips, tofu fries, grilled langka, and edible flowers.
    • Serve the flavorful Adlai Lugaw na Kalabasa (Job's Tears Pumpkin Porridge).
